Rules
Rules Official HGAS Rules of Play, Organization and Conduct:
1. The Summoner:
- Summoners may switch teams up until half-way through the season
- Summoners may only use a single account to compete the HGAS.
- Summoner Accounts must be on the North American server.
- Summoners may be between the ranks of Bronze and Plat at the time of their first game. After that first game, ranking is not restrictive
- Summoner behavior is expected to uphold a level of dignity, sportsmanship and quality found in any other sport. Summoners that fail to do so or become “toxic” will be reviewed by HGAS officials. Extreme toxicity is a bannable offense.
- Summoners are still bound by the Summoner’s Code.
- HGAS Teams will consist of at least five players and at most eight.
- HGAS Teams will designate five players as starters, reporting their Summoner Account and Position.
- HGAS Teams will designate a captain or manager who will communicate with HGAS staff regarding scheduling and other issues.
- If a player is moved from the Bench to a Starter Position (and vice versa), the Team Captain is responsible for letting both HGAS staff and the opposing captain know of the swap at least 10 minutes before a match.
- Roster changes, i.e. dropping and adding players, must be approved by HGAS staff.
- Coaching/Analyst/Staff roles do not count as players. Player-Coaches are allowed, however a roster slot must be occupied by the summoner.
- Multiple HGAS Teams may be part of the same organization.
- HGAS Teams are allowed to make trades for players until half-way through season
- Poaching Players Is Prohibited a type of item must be returned for the player no single swaps.Unless the team releases the player.Team owners must agree deals.
- Matches will be played in Tournament Draft mode.
- Matches will be Bo1.
- The Blue Team captain is expected to setup the tournament.
- The Red Team captain is expected to setup the time of the match, working with the Blue Team captain to find a mutually agreed upon period. Once the time is agreed upon, the Red Captain will notify HGAS staff through the official HGAS email: [email protected]
- HGAS Staff must be notified at least 24 hours before a match is to take place.
- Winning a match awards that team one Series Point.
- Losing a match awards that team half a Series Point.
- If a match is unable to be scheduled, the game is a draw. Neither team gets any Series Points.
- The team captain of the winning team will report results to HGAS Staff through an end-game screenshot sent to the official HGAS email: hooniganesports@gmail.com.
- Match results will be reported immediately after conclusion.
- Each team is allotted 15 minutes of pause time.
- Pauses may not occur during critical moments in a match including but not limited to: team fights, duels, objective positioning etc. In other words, pause during a time convenient for everyone.
- Only the team that paused the game may unpause it after first checking that everyone in the game is ready.
- Matches may be remade immediately with the exact same picks and bans if a connection issues occurs within the first 2 minutes of gameplay.
- Each HGAS Season is a double round-robin in which each team plays each other twice, once as Red Team and once as Blue Team.
- The number of Teams in the tournament is set at eight.
- Each match will occur within a set of dates announced by HGAS Staff before the beginning of the Season. Captains can decide the exact time within that set of dates.
- After the Season is over, the top six teams based on Series Points proceed to the Playoffs. If there are ties between teams, placement will be determined by:
- The record between the two teams.
- The team with the fastest win.
- BO1 Tie Breaker
- The worst two teams based on Series Points play in the HGAS Relegation Tournament.
- HGAS Playoff Matches are Bo3 style, with the higher seed getting side preference for games one and three, and the lower seed having preference for game two. Matches will be played consecutively with a period of 10 minutes in-between each game.
- All standard Match rules apply to HGAS Playoff Matches.
- One substitution can be made in-between each match.
- The top two teams from the HGAS Season get a bye into the semifinal round.
- The sixth and third placed teams play in the quarterfinals as well as the fourth and fifth placed teams. The winner of the third/sixth game moves on to play the second seeded team and the winner of the fourth/fifth moves on to play the first seeded team.
- The winners of the Semifinal Matches will play in the Finals for the honor of HGAS Champion.
- The Finals is played as a Bo5, with the higher seed getting side preference for games one, three and five, and the lower seed having preference for game two and four. Matches will be played consecutively with a period of 10 minutes between each game.
- Four teams not currently in the HGAS will compete in the HGAS Relegation Tournament determined by average team rank.
- The tournament will be a single round-robin, with each match being a Bo2.
- The top two teams will move on to face the bottom two teams from the HGAS.
- The higher ranking HGAS team gets to choose who they play between the two relegation winners.
- The Relegated HGAS team and Relegation Tournament team will then play a Bo5 to determine who earns a spot in the next season of the HGAS.
7.All Stars
- At the end of the season players will vote for their best 5 players of the season.They may only vote for 1 player from their team the rest from other teams
- Once voting ends the 5 most voted players will compete in All-Stars Vs the Casters/Staff
- Fun game modes (1v1)(2v2)(3v3)(Dominion)
- Failure to comply to the rules will result in a foerfit or suspension the Host will determine ruling
